Barbados' east coast is wild and windswept. At Bathsheba, huge mushroom-shaped boulders sit in the shallows and the Soup Bowl reef break attracts surfers from around the world.
Swimming is dangerous here except in the small rock pools at low tide, but it's one of the island's most scenic spots.
Tips
- Don't swim in open water on this coast
- Lunch at a local café on the clifftop
- Visit Andromeda Botanic Gardens nearby
