Trinidad is the birthplace of steelpan, calypso and soca, and its Carnival is one of the world's great street parties. It's an energetic, multicultural island with superb street food and rich birdlife.

Tobago, a short flight or ferry away, is the beach half: Pigeon Point's jetty, the Buccoo Reef, and the Main Ridge Forest Reserve, one of the oldest protected rainforests in the Western Hemisphere.
